Rubi is an Eastern NC native. Her volunteer work within her local Community with children, adolescents, adults and older adults illustrated the immense gap in psychiatric and mental health care which led her to pursue her certification in psychiatry. Her passion is working to provide quality and compassionate psychiatric care to rural eastern NC and serve the most vulnerable populations including Minority populations and older adults.
Rubi enjoys mentoring and teaching students the foundations of psychiatry, Building future quality leaders in psychiatry. Her goal is to empower individuals by enhancing their mental health to stay physically and mentally fit throughout the life span.
OUR PROCESS
We accept only a few patients per day, so we can dedicate time to evaluate each patient comprehensively in a holistic fashion, Each patient will receive a needs assessment evaluation by the social work staff initially and then the case is discussed with Dr. Madaram to present the best course of action.
