She received her bachelor’s degrees from the University at Buffalo (Buffalo, NY): Psychology B.A. and English Literature B.A. She received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2018) from Medaille College in Buffalo NY. Genna grew up in Syracuse, NY and relocated to Buffalo, NY where she completed her education. In 2017, she relocated to North Carolina.
Genna has worked in the mental health field for 10 years, having experience working in direct care in group homes, peer support services; as well as out-patient therapy. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, playing trivia, painting/drawing, attending concerts and writing. She is also a publish author with her children’s book “Roberto’s (Not So) Sad Day.”
We accept only a few patients per day, so we can dedicate time to evaluate each patient comprehensively in a holistic fashion, Each patient will receive a needs assessment evaluation by the social work staff initially and then the case is discussed with Dr. Madaram to present the best course of action.
